90 missed the basements BUT I agree with L. Boyles comment above and flipped a coin... Oh, and I own Painted Ladies and my History of Architecture teacher (20- years ago) would have added that a half wall paneling is called dado. Wainscoting covers the full wall, but is seldom properly identified as such. Thanks for letting me know I hadn't forgotten all of those oh so hard won grades!

Hiya!
This is the way we were taught to oil & preserve new wood that gets normal use. Oil it once a day for a week, then once a week for a month, then once a month for a year then once a year afterwards. This is how I do my counter tops that dont get a lot of use ( I always use a cutting board on my counter tops) for my cutting boards & butcher block I stop at the once a month phase.

OK so I have a cast iron dutch oven or a stainless steel skillet to choose from... which should I use? (I know I "should" have a cast iron skillet BUT my hands & I are too small to be able to manage one single-handed without creating a dangerously hot mess!) ... LOVE your recipes!

C - handmade metal windsor, OR A american furn prior 19th cen with original turnings & reeding OR D - unusual (and to my mind unattractive) mix of styles for the time period... and B because it is the least likely! LOL!

Charles Hollis Jones pieces are amazing. They age beautifully, are widely sought after, and are wonderfully timeless in their design. They should NEVER be lumped in with "Melamine/MDF/Particle board". The entire point of the article was to show that Lucite is not just Vegas & stripper shoes. I, too, love patina and character but all furniture needs to be cared for to keep it beautiful; some more & some less. Google Charles Hollis Jones and check out the beautiful pieces he has made. He is represented in the Smithsonian & Norton Simon Museums, among many others. Also, if the designer is still active (as Charles is) they may "touch-up" their own pieces. You can also ask any reputable dealer who specializes in a certain material. They will surely have craftsmen who can repair broken or damaged Lucite as well as other materials.
