Ah! Thank you for the information! Although all that article really did was make me want to throw my eggs away and move to England... Infographic: The Shelf Life of Food |

The comment about eggs doesn't make sense either. In Europe, and I assume many other areas of the world, eggs are bought off of shelves in the supermarket- not refrigerators. If they go bad in a few hours outside the fridge, how do chickens ever hatch? Infographic: The Shelf Life of Food |

You could make a layered dessert in clear shot glasses or mason jars. Things like a berry/lady fingers/whipped cream, or chocolate cake/chocolatepudding/heathbarcrumbles/whipped cream, combo layered would look lovely, be easily prepared in advance, and taste delicious! Cooking lemons in their peels this long yields too bitter of results! I tried this and the Huzz was decidedly underwhelmed. Would it be crazy to just juice the lemons instead? Or cut the peels off? I know they would fall apart, but in place of the bitterness maybe it would be worth it? Easy Dinner Recipe: Slow-Cooker Lemon Garlic ChickenRecipes from The Kitchn |

When we first moved into our new place in Portland, Oregon our next door neighbors welcomed us by bringing over a fresh caught and cleaned salmon, with no expectations that we cook it for them. It was seriously the best salmon I've ever had! But that's Portland... where people are freakishly nice. We're happy if our neighbors give us a wave here in the D.C. area where we now live... You could post it on recrib.com, which tends to cater to a design savvy crowd specifically looking for baby stuff. For a crib like that at such a good price someone who had a clue would be willing to drive. By that same token, expand your posting options even on Craig's List into the nearest metropolitan area and see if there are any takers willing to travel. Good luck! We used the Puj Tub which was just okay but a little nerve wracking once he started moving a little. We then transitioned to the Tummy Tub which we loved! Our doula recommended it for young babies because they can be immersed safely in warm water up to their shoulders so it's more womb-like and relaxing. He loved it so much! After about 6 months though it was getting too tight so we now use the Eurobath pictured which also lets you fill it more. It's nice, but pretty huge. You don't waste as much water filling it up as a full size tub though, and we only have one shower so we don't have to clean out the whole tub every time we need to bathe him. Tubby Time! There's also a new site called recrib.com that is sort of a Craig's List for high end/modern kids stuff. It's still in it's infancy so most posts are in the LA or NYC area but there's some great stuff! On the Cheap: 10 Sources for New Parents on a Budget |
