horrible waste of paper. they should have printed something smaller prompting people to go to the ipad version or website. Just the fact that they made such a wasteful move makes me want to never buy anything there again. A Peek Inside Restoration Hardware's Fab New Sourcebook |

another reason to not like flash: you can't pin flash images. Such a bummer because I love to pin the work of photographers I like, but so many photographers' sites use flash. :( Is Pinterest the End of the Home Inspiration Board? |

I bought one of those magic eraser mop sponges. Learn from my mistake - it is NOT ok to use on wood floors. It strips the shine right off. It says this right on the package, but I didn't read the package first. Duh. Magic Erasers: Toxic or Terrific? |

learn from my mistake: don't store your knives in that area above the stove. I did that on a magnetic strip, just like you have in the picture, and now the handles of my expensive knives are cracking and falling apart. major bummer. My Kitchen's 4 Most Helpful Small Organizational Tools |

Based on a house tour I saw on AT, I painted my bedroom Sherwin Williams' mega greige. It's a warm grey that reminds me of felt or cashmere on the wall. Works well with browns or greys. It seemed scary dark when I did the first test swatch but it's not, it's really perfect! Choosing the Right Gray ColorTherapy |

Hi again, I"m the question answer. Thanks nellyb for the Muu tip. I hadn't heard of them and the stuff is really cute. Sarahez, I was thinking Amish too. I used to live in NYC but am now in Austin. Regarding Pottery Barn and PBK, when I call and ask for more details about the materials used, often they'll say the frame is solid wood but the drawer fronts are MDF... Another vote for the Zuni method!! For those who don't have the book, here's the super abridged version: sprinkle bird with salt and pepper, inside and out. roast at a super high 450 or so. Be ready for smoke alarm to go off. After about 30 minutes you should have lovely golden skin. Reduce heat to 375 and cook until done. Well, that might not be exactly how Zuni does it, but that's my basic Sunday dinner method. YUM! What Is the Best Way To: Cook a Chicken? | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |
