Jackie here from Teal & Lime. I happy to report over 6 months later this drawer is still my favorite one in the house. Taking the time to make it pretty keeps me motivated to keep it organized. The vinyl easily wipes clean and it's kind of fun to redo the doodles every now and then. I have a 3 year old that loves nothing more than to pull everything out of the drawer while I get ready in the morning. The labels help get it all back in place.

Oh, and I don't use tiny deodorant. The drawer is deeper than the dividers. My deodorant sits in that bin at an angle (with enough room for the drawer to close). You can click over to my blog to see the drawer full.

Thanks,
Jackie

You are spot on. I love lime. My blog is actually called Teal & Lime! I sprinkle lime and chartreuse all throughout my house. You would love my teal and lime dining room.

Thanks for the support!

You can find out all the details about this room here on my home tour: http://www.tealandlime.com/family-room-home-tour/

The round ottoman is from Room and Board, we stalked it for weeks at the outlet until we snagged it for $199!

The art above the mantel was a DIY project I did with a cheap piece of canvas art (http://www.tealandlime.com/2012/07/pinterest-challenge/). The Let's Get Lost wood sign is by Oh Dier.

Keep those hearts coming!

Must have a sewing machine for both sewing fabric and for paper crafts!!! A clear quilters ruler is also fabulous for measuring lots of things. E6000 is my favorite adhesive right now.

I love this trend. We did a mix of buy and DIY. I bought a vinyl decal for the ruler markings and mounted it to a wooden board and fastened to the wall with finish washers. I shared the whole tutorial for my semi-DIY version: http://www.tealandlime.com/2011/10/ruler-growth-chart-tutorial/

I just love how timeless this look is. It will always look great even as decor changes around it.

I definitely think plexiglass or no glass is the only way to go. For the actual hanging I love the Ook French Cleat from Home Depot. I wrote about how I hung nursery art with a French cleat here: http://www.tealandlime.com/2011/12/french-cleat-for-hanging-art/

Thank you all for the nice comments. I know these colors are not for everybody, but felt comes in every color to make your own however you like.

Shawnandnan, the vases were a housewarming gift. I am sorry I do not know where they are from and they have no markings. I have seen similar at HomeGoods.

OCstyle,

The rug is from HomeGoods. It is an indoor/outdoor rug made of polypropylene. I found it this past summer for $129. With little kids around here, I liked the idea of a durable rug in the dining room. It is actually quite soft too. I am sorry the rug does not have an identification on it for the manufacturer.

Thank you all for the amazing support. The paint color is Plumage by Martha Stewart at Hone Depot. I made the chair slipcovered from DwellStudio tablecloths. If you want to know more about everything in the room, all the details are here: http://www.tealandlime.com/2011/11/dining-room-details-and-cost/

I have the exact same problem. We gave up on opening ours since they go down to the floor. We took the crank off, but now my 4 year old opens the locks and we noticed the window pushes out about an inch. Scary since they are second floor. I look forward to some safety advice!

This is gorgeous. Love the simple white bedding to keep it from feeling cramped. Totally awesome for kids and sleepovers, but I could also see a couple of girl friends hanging out staying up all night chatting.
