I love cilantro... I know 2 people in my relatives who hate it... But funnily my mom in law thinks parsley tastes metallic. Go figure!

If its a week night dinner with close friends, then we head straight to the dinner table n hang around and talk and eat....But weekend/friday dinner is more relaxed.. Drinks starters n then dinner a bit ... I would offer something to drink first either way.

If you have home made paneer that is very crumbly.. not to worry!! Try 'Paneer Bhurji'.. its a basic "scrambled" paneer with cumin, turmeric, spring onions, tomatoes and crumbled paneer.. variations with bell peppers are also yumm... think of it as an omlette scramble... that is, without it sounding weird

Made these just last night... With white rice though. The batter doesnt need to ferment for 8 hours... I soak rice for an hour, grind it with milk, a tablespoon of left over cooked rice( or soaked flattened rice), grated coconut. Then add in prepped active dry yeast mix it all up. Keep aside for an hour ina warm spot. And batter triples n is ready to be made..salt right before making. In all 4 hours max, start to finish... Yummy airy, lacy...:)

I bought a packet of couscous(whole wheat) from Trader Joes. Everytime I make it, there seems to be some sort of grittiness in it. Like theres some sand mixed in. Is this normal? This is the first time I have purchased the whole wheat version. Any ideas/ suggestions?

The bag may be stylish, durable etcetera, correct me if I am wrong, but isnt nylon non-biodegradable? So why not switch to cloth or jute bags. The whole point of being eco friendly is to be environmentally aware. Are these bags made of some kind of biodegradable nylon?
