soooo beautiful! love the varieties you have! i had a wildflower mix last summer that had poppies in it and loved them so much, but the ones i planted (or maybe it's the terribly hot summer in alabama) caused them all to die within a day of their bloom. any suggestions for longevity? we use this method as well. our garden is large enough to place a layer of cardboard between our vegetable rows inside the garden. if you want a more attractive view try laying down the cardboard and covering it with mulch or straw. a friend of ours uses straw and it looks great. we're going to try the mulch option because we think it's more attractive.
