I've seen yoghurt served in a mason jar like this in a hostel in Reykjavík... I think it's a lovely idea and am planning to copy it for a brunch at home where everyone gets their own little jar of yoghurt with muesli etc like here (bottom pic)

It's very sophisticated and probably "correct" in some circles. I find it completely lacking in personality and very boring indeed. It reminds me of a guy I used to date and described to my friends as "very nice and we have pleasant conversations, but..." ...

Yay, I've been meaning to go through books and CD's. I've got a huge outbox now in my laundry room which I'm taking to the local market soon, anything that doesn't get sold will be taken to charity... can't wait!

I'm doing cupboards instead of rooms... surface cleaning rooms is part of my weekly routine anyway, but my cupboards are overflowing and in dire need of reorganizing. Today I cleaned out the tea/coffee/bickies/snacks cupboard and the cereal/pasta/rice/flour drawer... last week I only did the spices/canned stuff cupboard. By the end of this my kitchen will be christmas cookie baking ready :D

The first place I moved into with my then boyfriend was so tiny, we had to custom make a lot of the furniture ourselves. It was a strange and special (in lack of a better word) feeling to know that when we moved out we would have to chuck most of those things away because they would not fit into another apartment... although when we finally moved, we ended up customising them to fit the new place, but they never sort of felt at home there...
