I also kind of wonder if all those massive appliances and tons of track lighting and drop lights kind of negate any "green-ness" of having the windows. What a great house - I love the use of bright bold colors and that the artists were his friends. We had an idea on a smaller scale when redoing the bathroom in our new house, which was to have all of our friends each send us one floor tile of their choice, that way they could all could have contributed to our home in a special way.
