Maryshe,

It's my son's room and it just so happens that he has SPD and has no issues with it. He sleeps soundly. I was hesitant to do it because of the SPD. If you read my blog you'd see that it took me 3 years to actually have the guts to paint it.

I "borrowed" the concept from Jenna Lyon's the creative director of J.Crew. Her son's nursery is similar.

Thanks for all the comments! So funny about the fight over the love/hate comments. It's my house and my husband hates it! I'm kind of embarrassed about the rug as well! It is temporary until I find the bedding and textiles I want to complete the look of the room. This picture was taken hours after completing the room. If you have any suggestions on a green rug please, please send them to me! I need to buy a bigger bed as well and have been debating over the Sparrow bed from Oeuf.
