Our neighborhood is so fun at Halloween! Groups of neighbors set up potlucks outside that anyone is welcome to join and at dusk we all take the kids around to trick or treat. I feel very blessed as this is the first neighborhood we have lived in with this dynamic. It's a blast and I make new friends every year.

I'm going to join the others suggesting navy or a deep blue. A simple white shower curtain with a navy border.

I'll also join the others in not wanting you to gut the bathroom. It probably needs a new water saving toilet and shower head, etc., but I think you can do a lot with what's already there. An interior design consultation is a lot cheaper than a gut job!!

I got a dress and skirt and the quality was really good, better than I expected. The laptop case was also really nice and well made, with a heavy duty zipper and leather zipper pull. I was disappointed with the scarf, though, it was thin and cheap feeling. I will be returning it to the store. I will not be unloading it on eBay.

@SAzcuy I think it's a tad unreasonable to expect every post on this site to pertain to you. Yes I suppose it would be great if there was a site for every size home, but there isn't. I don't think it's cool to make a poster feel bad for posting because they have a different housing preferance than you do. You may have not intended to be snarky but there was plenty of snark on here. I guess I wish there was a snark free site to discuss interior design.

So much judgement for someone who just wanted some help with a tall ceiling. There is more content on this site than anyone would ever have free time to read so just move along children if this topic isn't relevant to you. Jeez.

I don't like either color. I'd get some more samples and try again. I think you need a green with more grey in it to set off the kitchen. Check out SW's Contentment. Looks grey on the strip but is quite green once it's on the wall.

What Shade Of Green To Paint The Dining Room?
Good Questions

I have sold two houses with colorful paint but did not go too dark or bold. Really dark paint makes rooms look smaller and all I think when I see that kind of paint is wow, that's going to take a lot of primer to cover up. So I wouldn't go too dark or bold. At the same time I think a beige or white scheme sucks the character out of a house. Borrrring. I definitely couldn't live in it just for the sake of resale value.
