*Glasgow Jewelbox-The door is actually carved and was one of the elements that came with the condo that I fell in love with too. My neighbor and I are the only two units in the building with these. The builders downgraded to a painted version after we purchased but we got the real deal. (Not without a fight.) So cool! The color matches the walls throughout the rest of my condo. It's actually a pale gray called "On the Rocks" by Sherwin Williams. It's not too blue and not too brown with just enough color. A perfect gray for the space.

*Andru 3- You are on point with the building. Find me on facebook if you want check it out sometime. Go for a one bedroom if you can swing it!

*skoggins-I bought this place when I was single and while I'm not married, I have an amazing boyfriend who totally appreciates the style of the space and loves it! We've both got an eye for design and there's a mid-century mod out there waiting for us to design together happily ever after this one...

*Thanks, Midwestdiva and LexyAn in KC. Hollas!

CanadianManga & Ava-

The peacocks are Syroco pieces out of Syracuse circa 1965. They're fairly prolific and you should be able to find them with a quick google search. I passed them up once and then found them months later on ebay.

Thanks for the fun comments everyone! Here's some answers and more resources:

*The paint in the kitchen is Sherwin Williams in "Slow Green."

*The vase with faces is called a "Dora Maar." I originally saw it online but then stumbled upon it at TJMaxx! Jonathan Adler makes a killer version too if you wanted to splurge.

*The coasters: I have no idea where they came from! I've had them for probably ten years and I think my mom must have donated them to me :)

*The NSEW light fixture used to hang in my grandparents farm house. It had an additional piece to it which was a clear glass ship steering wheel that I removed. I have seen one other just like it at a vintage store so keep your eyes out. You may get lucky!

Cheers from KC~
