I wish this touched more on ceiling fans. I have been looking for a nice one for my living room, which isn't huge and doesn't have extra tall ceilings. To think I can find a modern one that isn't really a "big, chunky silver 'contemporary" fan? No such luck. Boo!
Side note, the room fans are cute. =P

blueprint refers to a type of print that is (was) done on photosensitive paper that you had to run through this machine thing (i cant remember that far back as to what it was called). usually done on vellum.
but now you just print drawings right onto paper. we call them plots at my office. basically if it was done digitally, its not a blueprint.
i like the idea, but usually the drawings are a lot more technical, and not just a pretty picture.

I'd like to know of some that have BIG prints. It seems like a lot of times I'll really enjoy a print, but the largest it comes is about 12x18.

you can buy chalkboard markers if you are worried about dust....

i hate tvs above mantles. i realize design wise WHY they are there. but they are uncomfortable to watch and they look like you are displaying them. ugh, tvs aren't art no matter how thin and new it is.

lauren i love that idea. ive been looking for wallpaper for my living room and have concluded that a. i cant afford any of the styles i actually like. and b. that even if i could, i have no idea how to wallpaper. and c. ill probably change my mind in a year or so anyways.

i think i will for sure do this idea. =D

EXACTLY. junk drawer stuff and odd stuff. i just moved on the weekend and i have about 3 boxes of just miscellaneous stuff. where does it go? and it just seems so sad to create a new junk drawer since no one ever wants one of those to begin with. ugh!!
