I have to admit, I don't make many messes (luck, I guess). At least none that are entertaining. My son, on the other hand, broke 6 eggs onto the carpeted play room floor because he wanted to make his plastic Easter eggs "real" by transferring the contents (he was 4). Needless to say, my husband ran out to rent a carpet cleaner machine and we shampooed the carpet. Strawberry rhubarb- but I have got to say that sour cherry pie looks great and our sour cherry tree is currently laden with cherries (not quite ripe) thanks to a net that keeps the birds from eating them up!:-) What a lovely pie plate- thanks for the give away! My friend's amazing sour dough bread, pesto, grilled eggplant and peppers from our garden, tomatoes and homemade mozarella.
