I'm in the midst of a pot rack dilemma myself... Not where to hang it, but HOW to hang it... I have old walls that have brick behind them so I'm having serious drilling problems...

Anyway... I'm not sure where the pot rack would work based on your photo, but I would suggest that you first line the tops of your cupboards with matching shallow grass baskets to store stuff, vs having those tchotchkes up there and then get a lightweight step stool for retrieving the contents.

I'm sure you've resolved your pot rack issue, but if not, I agree with the grid idea on the wall where your wine glasses are, but I'd do chrome... Agree with everyone on the de-clutter thing... remove stuff from counters. Think of your kitchen like a ship's galley... think vertical (etc...), think spatial relations... Hope to see a completed pic.

Also stuck on the gas springs for this stylish but hellish bed. Someone above mentioned that they can work when the bed is upright and extended but one of my sides is too close to one wall for me get between it to do that... Also, a socket on one my gas springs is turned the other way... How do I turn it around? I've spent much more on this than was estimated and I have to get it done for a family member who is going to be staying in my guest room. Please help before I lose my mind! Thank you.
