I have a cute one hanging on my front door knob holding my umbrella I always know where it is and it looks funky :)

To get kids to love whole wheat anything it has to be what they are exposed to first. Be it pasta or bread, my kids did not have non-whole wheat until they had been eating solids awhile. They happily eat any type of grain product. They are the only teens I know who actually prefer whole wheat;)

My husband has celiac:( it was a real challenge at first but the corn and rice based gf pasta are great! We tried alot of different kinds but this blend tastes the most "real"

Find some cool printed fabric an wrap some canvases it is a cheap way to add drama and color I've done alot. You should also invest in a lamp and Maybe some "floating"bookshelves. Orange, gray,and white look great with shots of navy or teal,and also green.good luck!

My bath is pretty small (like 4x5) so I keep the mother lode of tp in the other larger bathroom. I made one out of a coffee can covered in funky damsk duct tape.:)

I converted an old kerosene lamp into electric for my kitchen so cute and washable the kits are at home depot for like $6. Mine was my gr grandmothers it is lemon yellow I love it!

I love the look of white high gloss floors! Thay being said I painted my daughters floors just like this a few years ago,a complete nightmare!! Looked perfect for about a week. They are now high gloss black and contrary to what has been said about black floors it still looks great! My sons room was painted battleship grey and it has held up best, no retouch necessary;)

Being a non-meat eating person I don't like the thought of fur or leather clothing or home goods. That being said people eat meat and it seems disrespectful to the animals to just throw away the hides. Fur on the other hand I draw a hard line. An animal solely raised to be skinned is just a terrible and barbaric thing. If you must have fur go faux or buy vintage, I see tons of vintage furs for next to nothing at thrift stores all the time. I guess I'm just a bunny hugger:)

I say stick with greys, it would really bring out the richness of the wood. I would also put some pops of creamy mid century mod bold colors in the textiles and art. It is a beautiful home!

All of the walls in my home are painted shades of Gray. Bright creamy colors look beautiful, think aqua, yellow, red, or hot pink. A nice bright grass green also looks so fresh in the black, white, gray combo. Some natural wood accents also look very pretty think teak:)
