I can relate to what the post's author is saying in that if I found out it was from Walmart, for me, it would take away the spirit of the find for me. Just sayin'. I'd feel like the author. The Ten Commandments of Used Furniture |

Just did the LA to upstate NY move 3 weeks ago and took I40 then went up on I81. It was def one of the coolest and funnest adventures I've ever done. Had cat and college bound freshman along and drove a 16 ft Budget truck. Interestingly Budget was literally $1000 cheaper than UHaul and it only had 4000 miles on it. I will remember our adventure forever. The cat alone and his adjustment process was absolutely the funniest!! and my college bound guy was awesome, like a total team player!!! They don't care if a 19 yo drives. Not like how they freak when you rent a car and the driver is under 25. LOVED my X country adventure!! Everything you said is so true and not easily achieved but well worth aspiring to. These pics could be many locations(in terms of the 'feeling') as it so much IS what you make of a place, space, environment. Great post and wise words. Thanks!! Two Weeks in Umbria Castellaro, Niccone Valley, Italy |

Great, great, great idea on all fronts. Hope the group that leases out the goats keeps a close eye on them. Not everyone is capable of tending to goats that have been rented out to them. They are ornery little guys, full of personality and curiosity. LOVE them but they like and need your attention somewhat more than sheep. Movable electric fences are meant to keep goats corralled so they DON'T get into your 'whatever' flowers, but still they tend to break down their boundaries. Makes me smile. Keeps you busy. They are very amusing. Cuter Than a Lawnmower: Would You Let a Goat Mow Your Lawn? |

Great post! Had no idea it was even an issue. I'm a boomer and I don't garden and I've a Yer and he's not blossomed enough yet to see where his interests are going, only 18. But now that you mention it, the gardening world at a retail level doesn't have much 'hipness' going on, except for a place like Terrain. If I found a killer container or something inspiring I'd def buy a plant to put in it.(sorry I know that's backward thinking to garden enthusiasts but that's how it is for me).
