I've been enjoying the iOS/Android app Songza. Try out different playlists based on activity, time period, or genre is fun and quick to just put on when you just want to listen to music and not play DJ.

Drawing on the iPad with fingers is more possible (and enjoyable!) but with the iPhone accuracy is lost even the smallest fingers blocking the screen. I love my Pogo Sketch for the iPhone since it's super narrow and simulates more of a pencil on surface feeling.

If you're freelancing blogger, I recommend (if you don't already have it) Blogsy for iPad. It's a powerful versatile writing tool that keeps getting better and better with frequent updates from the developer.

There are a few professional styli designed for the iPad with features such as pressure sensitivity, shortcut buttons for brushes and wrist protection. Currently there are three that exist which are: Pogo Connect, Adonit Jot Touch and Hex3 Jaja. They are a little more premium ranging more or less around the $100 but are meant to have the same effect as graphic tablets with screens like Wacoms Cintiq line.

Is that a MacBook Air or a Pro? Do you have that as a standalone computer or your be all end all computer for everything?

Price tag aside, those color tones are pretty nice.

Personally I'm eagerly awaiting Scriveners iPad app. Their desktop application is amazingly intuitive, simplistic and powerful for organizing writing projects, definitely recommended for writers of varying skill level.

Love these. Some good considerations for presents for the female techie in your life.
