If any of you happens to find a someone who could provide a soundproofing solution geared towards ceilings or consultant who could provide a possible solution, I would greatly appreciate it. I don't think that the builders who originally constructed the building where I live used any soundproofing material between floors. As a consequence, I constantly hear the individual living above me. Either walking around, using the bathroom, or enjoying "night-time" activies. I am not opposed to having someone come and rip out my existing ceiling to accomplish this, but I don't want to have to take out a second mortgage to pay for it.
