I think this is a great, affordable re-do. I get the others' comments about your side tables, but not everyone has the funds to run out and buy new things. I think style is also about finding ways to use what you already have with a few improvements, and in that vein, this is a great makeover! I love the fresh combo of fuchsia, navy, and white. Amen. Every second person I know has an 'allergy' to something. Know the difference between a legit allergy, a sensitivity, and a preference. I never knew children with such severe allergies growing up, and now I hear of people being allergic to their own hair. How is that even possible? This craze has gone too far, and this article just showcases how smug and anxiety-ridden people are about food intake. Dealing with Food Allergies as a Host |

Looks fabulous and I love that you did it yourself vs wallpaper. I can't imagine how painstaking it was but it was worth the effort! Beautiful space. 80's Wallpaper, Updated: Hand-Painted Interlace Color Therapy in Film |

I'm surprised at the negative comments! I think this looks awesome and industrial is far better than the basic powder-coated Ikea one. Before & After: Aged Steel-Look IKEA Cabinet Simplicity in the South |

I love this space! You've done an amazing job in only 9 months and I love your style. Those pipe shelves are to die for. I'm a fellow Torontonian (and HR professional actually!), and I always love to see local spaces featured in AT. Great feature! Natalie and Kevin's Perfect Parkdale Perch House Tour |

I. Love. This. Home. I love every single bit of it. One of my top 3 on AT for sure. An amazing mix of Craftsman and modern - and I love how you've embraced bold patterns and prints. Adore this house. Traci's Incredible South Pasadena Craftsman House Tour |

You did an exceptional job on the re-upholstering - those arms must've taken a huge amount of effort. Also love your resourcefulness with the body pillows - I wouldn't have thought of that! Agree on the fabric choice though; something with more weight would've been a better choice. I say enjoy it for a few years, and when you're ready to change it up, you'll know what to do next time to make it even better! And besides, if you love it, who cares what we think? LOL. Great effort. Before & After: Jude's Virtually Free Sofa |

That 'cottage' is unreal. So beautiful and what a wonderful home to have in your family. Another vote for keeping that green wallpaper - very Hamptons chic! Big Cottage Reno: Stripping Down and Painting |

As a long-time Torontonian and current St. Lawrence area resident, I disagree with the comments above that it's a tourist trap, overpriced, and that no locals shop there. Your impressions are so off, I wonder if you've actually visited it?? While it IS crowded, the prices and quality and well-worth it. Amazing cheeses, fresh cut flowers for a song, home baked goods, and those fabulous bagels are well worth the trip. Not everything is locally grown - true - but I'd rather support a family butcher than another mega big-box food retailer. The Market is vibrant, diverse, and a fun morning well spent. Love when Toronto is represented in AT! Thanks! St. Lawrence Market in Toronto Well-Designed Travel |

Oh for goodness sake people, it's just for FUN!!! I would've loved this as a child and I think these kids are lucky to have such cool parents. No one knows how to take the fun out of things like a bunch of overprotective adults. A lamp post would make it complete! Well done. Through the Wardrobe: Real-Life Narnia |
