This just shows how House of Leaves TV floorplans are. I kind of wish they would put more effort into making the exteriors and interiors match.

We always had real or realistic trees growing up and for the first few years on my own I had a faux green tree from IKEA (which actually looks pretty good for $20), but last year I got a bright white tree and I'm using it again this year. I love the way it glows and the ornaments pop out against it.

This is too gay for me. I mean I have mermen from Diamonds of the Sea all over my tree and a couple of snowmen in bondage from Pornaments, but this is too much. ;)

The first one gives me ideas of doing a whole tree with different little scenes inside each ornament, but I hate that it's not shown step by step and is instead multiple pictures of the finish product with vague descriptions on how it was created.

I would never ask my guests to take their shoes off, but I would never have anyone over who is dumb enough to wear work shoes to someone else's house. Usually my guests offer to take them off anyway because I take mine off. I have hardwood floors so it's not a big deal. We kept our shoes on a rack on the wall closest to the front door until fairly recently when I decided to put them all in the entry closet. I like shoes out of sight much better and it keeps the wall clean.

I do. I always force my partner to give me some answer on everything just so he can't complain about it later, but he usually doesn't anyway. He admits that he has no design skills and seems happy with what I do.
