I once decorated a tree entirely with my action figure collection, but that might not be the look you're going for....

I think it looks cool and fun. It makes me want to hang out with these people.

Sar3j, you can configure this bed with the mattress on the bottom, and you'd still have the same end-panels.

I would never wear a sling in the water, because I'm a klutz and would be afraid of drowning my child like an idiot.

I do like that it's breathable and sun-blocking, though.

I can't stand back yards without fences. I don't want my house to open up onto a gigantic park, I want my own private space where I don't feel like I'm on display every time I step out my back door.

As far as front yards go, I like low picket or ornamental iron fences, as long as they have flowers growing behind them.

I like the idea, but plexiglass looks soooo bad on a wall. It's flexible, so unless you go very thick (3/8" or thicker) it warps and you can see the reflections of the warpage as you walk around the room. In a piece this large I'd think it would look like something out of a cheap pizza parlor.

I used to sell the stuff, and customers would come up with cool ideas like this, but there were very rarely satisfied with the result.

I would cut some 1/2" foam to the shape of the windows, and us spray glue to attach a nice fabric to it. Place the foam blocks in the window during nap time, and pull them out during play time. Be sure to make a little tab of fabric at the bottom, for easier removal.

This is a little bit of a pain, but it will make the room really dark during nap time, and wouldn't require any permanent hardware.

I love this, absolutely love it! I just want to go and hang out in that room and soak up all the funky goodness.

But I agree with fleadell--it works because of the art. If someone tried to recreate this with their family photos it would be disaster.

That kitchen would make me go insane, but other than that I love this house. You can just tell that happy, creative people live here.

Seriously? Do we really need professional baby-proofers in our lives? My kid is 16 months old and I remember the paranoid phase, but come on! You watch what your baby does. When they get old enough to crawl, you put a gate where you need it. When they can open drawers, you install those annoying latches. It's not rocket science.
