Shinee, we got the Bocci outlets from Matter in Soho. Bocci makes a separate installation piece if you're installing in something other than drywall (e.g., glass, stone, etc.). We don't have any so I'm not familiar with the process, unfortunately. Good luck!

Thanks again and more answers...
*The cutting board is John Boos.
*The shelf supports are installed on studs.
*Unfortunately, we do not love the Liebherr. Integration is great, but it smells. I've heard similar complaints from people with the same model.
*Counters are concrete, poured onsite so there are no seams. We love them!

Thanks for the kind comments. The shelf was custom made and we haven't had problems with grease. Most of the dishes are in such quick rotation, there's not much time for dirt to accumulate. The shelf itself is gets dusty, however.

Thanks everyone for the kind and thoughtful comments! A few answers:

Lepidoptery -- yes, the floors are real parquet. We had a great floor person who was able to match seamlessly three different ages of wood but, unfortunately, he's changed careers.

xand83 -- lots of dust, but not terrible.

EIF and surf -- the main paint color is Pratt & Lambert seed pearl. By the way, Surf, the wood you see above the living room windows are original beams, not blinds.

Poppygreer and Robertspeg -- the botanicals and pottery were all inherited from my grandfather. I had the botanicals reframed by Steven Amadee (http://www.stevenamadee.com), however. I do whatever that man tells me to do. The turquoise vase is, unfortunately, the only one for which I'm unsure of the origin.

kz - we love the dining room set! It has served us well.

Girl & Lamp -- your comment made me laugh out loud. In reality, I'm the only one spending money on the apartment. Dennis is far more concerned with how he can sneak in his next instrument...

Thanks all for the kind and thoughtful comments! I just learned our apartment made the contest yesterday so am a little late...

stools: I got them on Overstock -- as ElaneB suggested -- but the Overstock version is a copy of the Tolix Marais stool. If the one you found says Tolix, it is likely worth more.

bedside tables: I love them, too! They are actually from from the original apartment so I owe many thanks to the previous owner. I believe he had them custom-made at Knossos in Chelsea.
