We are first-time homeowners who were so excited about our pretty pergo floors in the kitchen. We had heard that pergo was soooo easy to clean. Come to find that everything sticks like glue to it, and that the finish has become dull and difficult to clean. We have tried everything under the sun, or so we think. Any suggestions? Oh, the bitterness of some family members or friends if you refuse to help them move. I was called expletives (not in person, natch) for not driving across state lines on my own dime to help a close relative move. But it was worth the month-long silent treatment to know that I likely won't be asked again. And I wasn't when he moved again less than a year later. :) A Moving Story: Friends or Professionals? |

I have that rocker! It's surprisingly comfy. I reupholstered mine, but I wouldn't have if the fabric was still any good. Before & After: A Rescued Rocker Gets Brightened Up |

dirce79, the person who owned my house before me used those handles when she remodeled. I really like them. She also put the hinges on the inside, which looks nice, but there's screwed into wood blocks that were then glued inside the cabinets... ? And now the doors are falling off. :/ Before & After: Brightening Up the Kitchen Cabinets Restoration House |
