Interesting article - I didn't know people took potlucks so seriously. I think it's just a casual, fun way to get together with your friends..I think all the rules take the fun out of it.

This is how we plan our potlucks: Potluck this Friday, bring a dish to share!

And you know what? It always works out - there's enough food to eat, enough to drink and everyone has a good time. To me, it's about hanging out with friends not criticizing their food choice (What?! You brought store bought potato salad - how inconsiderate! You should have slaved over a hot stove for days to feed us!)

I love the trunk/coffee table! Awesome! I really like what I saw.

would like to see more of the home and how the rooms go together. I agree with above posters, enough of the vignettes! I want to see wide angle shots of the rooms! I want floorplans! I want to see how everything connects together! PLEASE, AT!

Can't really comment on the home as there weren't that many pictures of it! I'm not sure why there were all the close ups of random objects?? I would actually like to see the home and hope that one day there will be a real House Tour!

My kids love IKEA because it's a big indoor playground for them but it's soooooo hard to shop with them. It takes hours to go through the store. Without them, I can be in and out. It probably wouldn't be too bad if our IKEA wasn't super crowded on the weekeds. It's a nightmare to get through the store and the lines for food are ridiculous.

I really love this. I love how you incoroporate IKEA into the decor without it looking like an IKEA showroom. It fits and looks great (and gives me some good ideas). And I love the art (and cat!)

Still have and use my rocker - and my kids are 6 and 3! But I had no need for a diaper dispenser or changing table and Baby Bjorn (didn't work for us but a sling was great!)

This is my first post and I have to agree with Amanda. I love At & ohdeedoh - love looking at how people decorate their homes - it's a great source for inspiration. But I HATE the snarky, mean, nasty comments. It's OK to not like a certain style or to make constructive criticism but why be nasty? And then when called on it, become defensive? Just as easily as you respond in a negative way, you can easily and naturally respond in a positive, empowering, uplifting way.

As for all the "child savers" out there--maybe see if you can find some kind of hobby besides causing problems for others and stop polluting this site with your negativity.

Make love not war! Peace, man!
