Its a shame that the park is still ruff and that most the city isn't willing to visit it. Its amazing.

Try engine spray paint. You can get it at any auto parts store outside of the city. No spray paint in the city!!

Does anyone need any of the extra trim pieces from an IKEA kitchen? I'm talking about the Crown piece and the piece for underneath the upper cabinets. I have about 10 new in box of each that I would like to give away to someone who could use them.

I'm in bucktown and around this week

I just installed basically the same thing. You're right it doesn't just "snap" in place. I used a block of wood and a hammer to get it right. Overall it was easier than the hardwood I've done.

The cost was about $4-5/Sq foot. I got mine at Ifloor.com which actually has a store at Webster and Elston.

I think its all very hot. I do agree that you could source your own pieces though at much lower price.

I just went through the Direct Vent VS Vent Less debate. I ended up returning my Vent Less for a Direct Vent.

Once I understood that the Vent Less releases Carbon Dioxide I didn't want it in my bedroom. It now vents out the roof.

I ended up with one of the Fireplaces from Menards that I had built into bookshelves so it looks built in. I'm actually really happy with it.

How about the Crate and Barrel outlet in Naperville? I was there this weekend and I swear that they had that couch.. It was probably $700-$800. Call them they will tell you if they have a particular piece in stock.

I picked up this when I was there-about 40% off retail.

Love the rooms and the colors. One question..does each room have its own ikea throw or did you move it into each room?

If you're going to paint the radiators and pipes.. make sure you use the right paint. Automotive Engine Spray paint will also work but will limit your color choices.

No two ways around it.. crown is hard to install. Especially in an older space..

You can get the corner blocks that will make your life 10 thousand times easier.

Midway Movers was great. Its not cheap but they didn't break or damage anything. We moved about 3 blocks in Bucktown but had to move out one day and move in the next. They kept our stuff on the truck at their storage facility overnight.

I'd recommend them

Can anyone help?

The other day I thought I saw a link to a phone and I pod organizer for your counter.. About $60 or so. It was super slick, kept all the cords out of the way

Was it here? Or was it on some other site?

Can anyone point me in the direction?
