The story line in these three books is great. I did find the writing to be unpolished, but then again, it was - based off a manuscript and then on top of that, translated. Whatever nuances the writing may have, you keep reading, because most of it is very good - good enough, in fact to forgive any issues you have with it. Lisbeth Salander is a refreshing heroine.

As a side note, I have to wonder how vastly improved the Twighlight series would be with the addition of this paragraph.

I don't get why the seating arrangement is almost on top of the fireplace. Other than that, I like the basics. Switch out some carpeting for hardwoods and more fitting fixtures. I'm wondering if the kitchen is dreadful...

Is it just me or do the pots on the deck look photoshopped??

You have some great bones there...I like the couch, parquet floors, and blank walls...you just need something to tie it together and at the same time make it work with the way you use the room. I think using the guitars and amps as inspiration, you could do something really cool there.

I think some people miss the point...sometimes on AT people write in and ask for suggestions, and sometimes they are just opening up their personal spaces and hard work with us and sharing. Unless I missed it, there wasn't a question in there...

Your advice for first figuring out the mood you want in the room is great and it looks like by following that advice you were able to get the kitchen you'd been longing for! Awesome job and thanks for sharing : )

heh, I emailed these to my friend figuring she HAD to have them because her kids are named Max and Jada. Turns out they were made for her and the gal from CraftPudding lives a half an hour from her. Thanks Ohdeedoh for making me smile...it took the immensity of the world wide web to make me and my friend that I don't see nearly enough have a little chat that we otherwise wouldn't have had : )
