I work in a water district in So. Cal. and part of my work involves helping people to reduce water consumption. I hope readers of AT will consider the benefits of synthetic lawn products before dismissing them. Of course they're not the real thing, but some are made from recycled material and are completely recycleable. No lawn mowers necessary, which translates to additional energy saved. Yes, they look better from a distance, but wouldn't it be nice to hang out on the rooftop with something carpet-like under you. Brunch, cocktails anyone? A dark grayish blue. Think about the types of color schemes you typically prefer from your favorite room, the way you typically dress, magazines etc. Do the color schemes have bold or subtle contrasts? many colors? monochromatic or 2 toned? etc. My personal pick would be a midnight blue despite the fact that I love red. Exactly what came to my mind bepsf! I loved the Calin loveseat and chairs but did not find them comfortable enough. Seem to remember feeling the metal frame while seated. Like the angled drawers of #2, having now seen the larger pics, but with the darker stain detail on the drawer centers it looks a bit busy. Extra length of #3 might be better in a less crowded space. On the other hand, it might enhance the space by "lengthening" the room if the armoire were to be moved/removed.
