I am reading the zombie survival guide.
Ideal house would be on stilts with a set of retractable (attic style) stairs.
also.. when fighting zombies, you will want a crossbow and a machete. guns are too loud and will attract more zombies.

the idea that the "rotator rod" is in this "design showcase" is baffling.
While it may have lots of FUNCTION.. it has pretty much no FORM as far as "design" goes. Its a shower rod. it might have a trick up it's sleeve.. but its still just a shower rod. looks like a shower rod. it belongs on an infomercial, not a design site.

semi-related.
my sister got me a furby for christmas a few years ago (i asked for a furby and pogs, just to be annoying).
the furby stayed in my trunk for a few months.. you could hear him crying when the car came to a stop.
then i brought him inside and he just complained about needing hugs.

i tried out the new Method laundry detergent (small ultra-concentrated bottle with a pump).. it seems like a good enough detergent..
however, when carrying everything back up to my apartment, the bottle leaked detergent all over my clean clothes.

LAME. and wouldn't a measuring cup lid use less plastic AND be cheaper to make.. and not leak all over everything?
