Can't do it. I've "solved" the problem by having just one set of sheets that I wash and immediately put back on the bed. Can You Fold a Fitted Sheet? Callalillie |

I too keep looking at rugs for my space because "they" say rugs pull together the room, define the space, etc, but I've resisted so far due to the cleaning factor. My concrete floors are soooo easy to clean without anything in the way. I do with the people upstairs from me had a few more rugs though to cut down on the noise (no one below me -- just the building garage). Going Rugless: Bare Floor Inspiration |

Not so important to me. I had a house with a decent sized back yard, and it was defintely nice to be able to just open the door for the dog to go out, but I hated the yard work, and the bugs here in the South are too bad to spend much time out there. Now we have a condo with someone else to take care of the lawn and a dog park accross the street. How Important Is Outdoor Space When Home Hunting ? |

My first apartment all on my own was a little studio around 400 sf or so. The building was built on a hill, and the entrance to my place was kind of down in a basement looking area with no natural light, but I had a large window and a patio that opened onto a grassy area on the other side of the hill, so the unit itself was filled with lots of light. The layout of that entry always made my mom nervous, but it never bothered me. Maybe it was just because I was young and stupid, but I still have fond memories. My First Apartment: Looking Back |

I very rarely comment here at AT, but I just had to in this case. I am absolutely in love with your place. Fantastic windows, view and use of space. I love how you appear to have kept your bay area uncluttered with just the bar table to really preserve and be able to savor your view rather than feeling as though you have to fill it with "stuff". $650 was one of the "cheap" ones. I clicked on a couple of the other cabins, and they were $1500/night! Luxury Escapes: Dunton Hot Springs | Apartment Therapy New York |

Bedroom is last for me as well. I think my problem is that the bed "clothes" I really like aren't practical for me. My dog sleeps on the bed, so I need something pretty durable and easy to toss in the washer. I guess I just haven't found anything suitable that is any better than what I already have yet. Now that I have recently moved into a studio where everything is on display at all times, I may need to step up the search for something nicer. I always used to "do" Halloween until last year. I started to have mainly older teenagers come to my door, and, unfortunately, as a single female, I just didn't feel safe opening the door anymore. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | To Stay or Go: Halloween |

Though I love to read this site, I am by no means a cook (though I hope to change that someday), and I really had no interest in seeing the movie...until I read about it here. I just got back from the theater, and I loved it -- very funny and inspiring, though I doubt I'll be deboning any ducks anytime soon! Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Seeing Julie Julia This Weekend? I am in the process of purging all things unnecessary to prepare for a move from a 2300 SF house to 650 SF condo. Every now and then I get a quick surge of panic, but mostly I am enjoying getting rid of things and looking forward the freedom, strange as it sounds, that I think the smaller space is going to give me -- freedom from cleaning so much space, yard work, driving longer distances, etc. Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | AT on...
