Time to revisit this question. Who makes Ikea kitchen appliances? Is it still Whirlpool? One of their salespersons recently told me that some of their cooking ranges were made by an Italian company. Anyone knows what company it is and exactly which appliances are made by this company?

I am tempted by the the Ikea Paramus Kitchen Sale - up to 20% off if I buy three kitchen appliances with my order. Would like more info on who makes their appliances and do they stand the test of time.
