Why was an architect needed for this kitchen redo? They took out the old furniture & appliances and put in new ones. When you shop for kitchens the manufacturers or shop owners help with the layout. I love the look of a dark floor and white cabinets. I personally hate carpets where I eat, crumbs and bits of food don't get on the floor but still end up on the carpet so what's the advantage?
