Seriously? This is a 'tip?' I've been telling my kids the same thing since they started doing their own laundry in the 7th grade, as my mother told me several decades ago as well. Table Tip: Fold Your Napkins Right Out of the Dryer! |

Deer person: for the round ones, buy a styrofoam sphere from a craft store, glue gun them on. For the colored ones, I would guess that they just dipped them in dyes/watercolors or inks. It would be really simple, actually. And they could be hung outside. Green Style: Earth Day Windows at Anthropologie |

I still have all the Boonton Melmac that my family ate off in the '60s. No, you cannot microwave on it, but when a dozen kids were having lunch or dinner at my house, it came in handy. We use it all the time for a small bowl of ice cream, a muffin or a sandwich. Melamine Mania: Fun, Durable (and Safe?) Tableware |

Yeah, I just use a teeny bit of that poster-hanging sticky-stuff and put it on the cabinet door. It's re-usable hundreds of times and costs just a dollar at...the dollar store. No More Cookbook Stands: The Recipe Rock |

My heritage is 100% Polish. When my mother was younger and we were all at home she would make them every year. Yum. The dough is lighter-tasing than a regular jelly doughnut. The pronunciation is actually more like 'poonch-key.' Like Jelly Doughnuts but Better! Paczki |

But how do you get all of the egg out? It seems like most of the whites would stick to the shell. I've always been confused about this! How to Soft-Boil an Egg |

Seriously, $85.00? These are old baby food jars, my dad did stuff like this in the basement (with all my empty ones) years ago. Good luck to Little Dot, though. Vintage Hardware Storage Jars Daily Find |

I had that garlic peeler once, used it a few times, then gave it away. While it worked (I guess), it was a pain to clean all the sticky out of the inside of it. Smashing with a knife works better. Helpful Tools: Our Favorite Vegetable Peelers |

Red-wine braised short ribs, because they're better a day or two later, anyway! If I was there, I would serve them over polenta, but they could cook up some noodles to serve them with as well (and al the yummy gravy). Maybe stuff for an easy salad, too. Yeah, I tried that last year and it didn't work at all. The FatCat won't go up in it, but the other one did, got caught in the lights and scratched the hell out of my and my son's hands before I had to get scissors to cut him out. I have a GE Profile (bottom freezer, French doors), it's almost five years old. While it is very quiet, the fan and condenser have each gone out at different times (VERY inconveniently during the summer). Thankfully, it was still under warranty when those things happened. My only other complaint with it is that the ice has a tendency to fall out of the back of the ice cube tray onto the bottom of the freezer section. My brother and SIL have a similar model (by another maker) and it happens to them, too, so that may just be a design flaw for this style. What Is the Quietest Brand or Model of Refrigerator? You could pound a turkey tenderloin (they're plenty big), make some stuffing (even Pepperidge Farm would do fine, along with any other mix-ins you like) put it on top, roll it up, tie it with twine, brown on the stovetop and roast in the oven, and there's your turkey and stuffing. I do this quite a bit with chicken breasts and even wrap them in bacon. Mashed potatoes and gravy and whatever sides you like as well. And wine. How Can I Make a Solo Thanksgiving Special?
