I can promise that the IKEA sofa looks poorer in person than it does online, but the CB2 sofa looks the same, if not better, in person. I'm not saying this as a CB2 employee, I'm saying this a furniture fanatic. If the post had been asking about the "true" collection at CB2, I would have expressed all of it's IKEAesque, particle board crappiness. I work at CB2 currently and know first-hand that the movie sofa is one of our highest quality pieces. It's made by the same company that makes Crate & Barrel's Petrie sofa and Room & Board's Andre sofa, but costs about $500-$600 less. As flower222 mentioned, it can be a little awkward as is; however, it's purposefully designed so that large, comfy throw pillows can be arranged along the back.
