These are the absolute worst ice cube trays i have ever used. Don't waste the $10.

My 2-year-old asks for oatmeal almost everyday! I usually make it with cinnamon and brown sugar, then stir in some peanut butter and milk, and top it with fresh fruit.

Sometimes I add ground flaxseed, dried fruits, nuts, or some pureed pumpkin. Whatever we have on hand that day.

I used Dan's Upholstery (in San Carlos) to reupholster a couch and loved them. They came over to my house to give me a quote, picked up the couch once I had chosen the fabric, and finished the job and delivered it to my living room in 6 days! They have a ga-jillion fabrics to chose from, but you don't have to use their stuff. They did an amazing job; were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful; and very reasonably priced.

When I was pregnant, we made it clear that we didn't want house guests after the baby was born.

But while I was in the hospital recovering from giving birth, my mother-in-law called and announced that she would be visiting the next day, she would be staying at our house for a week, and she would be bringing her 90 year old mother.

When they got here, they watched hours and hours of Fox news at the highest possible volume because the 90 year old was mostly deaf. They did not rent a car, and expected to be entertained...or worse, they just took our car without asking. They did not understand why I didn't want to take a 6-day-old baby out to brunch. They insisted on cleaning my already clean house, because they wanted to snoop through my things. They scrubbed my toilets, and then wanted to hold the baby when they hadn't washed their hands. They made fun of the way my body looked after giving birth. They wanted to watch me breastfeed, and were mad when I asked them to leave the room.

I asked my mother-in-law to kindly stay in a hotel the next time she visited. She did not.

Hey, we moved here in 2001, too. Since then we've moved half a dozen times (not by choice) and I have to agree, Delancey is the way to go!

Cute idea, but these are made of melamine, which was the ingredient in tainted pet food that caused thousands of beloved pets to die. I'm just sayin'...

Your kitchen is nice, and I'm jealous! If it were mine, I'd paint it a lime green color, add a fun, multi-colored, tile backsplash, install some under-cabinet lighting, hang a large piece of art on the wall by the fridge (or a big clock), get a cute rug, and call it a day.

Lame!

I don't think it would hold all my husband's gadgets. Besides, I would kick his ass if he ever tried to rock one of these.
