What kills me about bathroom renos are the costs of the vanity bases. I couldn't even wrap my head around it when we did a half bath reno in ours. $500 for what? A dresser? I just spent the long weekend cleaning our home and am still not done. Shampooing and steam cleaning rugs and carpets. Floors. Dusting. Attacking things in bathrooms that you wonder how you missed. This would be a good idea in a modern condo that wanted to have more privacy if they were looking directly into another unit. If you go to her blog the original idea has an open window on top of the privacy screen windows so it balances out the "look". I think that essentially is what's missing here. My toddler would destroy that 'art' in 5 seconds with their hands. And I wouldn't even begin to find the time in the day to be able to do that. Nice idea for a party but for everyday, I'm lucky if I get the grilled cheese off the stove before it burns. DIY Kids' Plate Oh Happy Day |
