@SPIKELE Washi tape is made with a low tack adhesive making it really easy to position, reposition and remove. We've found it safe on painted surfaces though it's probably best to do a test if you're planning on leaving it on for a long time just in case. That being said, I've had some strips of washi tape on my kitchen wall which have been there since last March - they remove easily without leaving any residue and still are stick enough to reposition and reuse.
