I wash our stuffed toys in the washer. If I only have a few they go in a net bag that zips up. I have been known to wash an entire load of stuffed animals at once though. I let the animals air dry. If it's nice out, they go outside in the sun.

I love upside down Christmas trees. The ornaments can actually hang! I've seen some really beautifully ones. Now, if only I could convince my husband!

I love the play kitchen! Is that an original piece?

It looks nice and would be fun during the warm months.

However radiators and their covers get very hot in the winter when the heat comes on. Hopefully her kids are old enough to understand that when the heat is on it's no longer a fun toy to doodle on.

I love the antique stand up & sit down chairs. I refinished a battered one for my son recently.

I ordered a kid craft stool a few years ago and was disappointed when it arrived. In the pictures it looked like it was all wood, but when it arrived it was mostly press board with veneer.

Maybe these newer ones are different?

My son wouldn't drink from any sippy cup with valves. We removed the valves and tada! They're not "spill proof" now, but they slow the flow!

Everything goes onto my hard drive first. Sorted by a year folder, then a date folder titled YYYYMMDD-event. All photos are backed up to an external hard drive.

Good ones are uploaded to Shutterfly, shared on a site for distant family to view & order if they like. I order from Shutterfly because the description I give each photo is printed on the back of the image along with the date each photo was taken; and I can order matte. (You can get matte prints from Costco too. )

My favorite prints go straight into an album. Duplicates are mailed to great grandmas.

Then there's all the old film stuff. Prints in albums, duplicates and negatives in photo boxes in date order.

My mom has bags of images not in albums, not sorted, or dated. I promised I wouldn't let that happen to my memories!

I can never say enough good things about our Maxi-Cosi Priori. It fits great in my Subaru Impreza.

I had a chain hung from the ceiling in one corner of my room. There were colorful loops of ribbon tied to it. My stuffed animals all hung from that. My sister had a pegboard tree on one wall that stored hers.

My mom bought an antique high chair she used with me and my siblings. Now my son uses it when we visit.

She fashioned a padded seat from an old comforter that ties on the back of the seat, at the top and at the bottom. Then there is a long piece that fits between the legs. It ties above his waist, almost under his armpits behind the chair.
