My son is 2.5 and we finally are heading somewhere with potty training. We introduced the potty at 1, but he really didn't using it until closer to 2. We were progressing slowly but with the birth of our new baby in January, it all ended. He refused to go to the potty and would try to hide when he went. Suddenly though, he took an interest in it again and after finally deciding to go no diaper during the day we've hit a stride. I don't know if it's timing or finally listening to everyone who suggested diaper free is best but it's working great. During naps, bedtimes and outings we use diapers but we encourage him to go before we do so. I think we may try diaper free at night soon, since he never really wets his diaper during the night. Although, I'm a bit nervous about it since we co sleep! Another thing, that concerns me is going out without diapers when we're out, especially here in NYC. I wish you lots of luck and hopefully someday we all can laugh about this stage and the potty training accidents we've had to clean up after!

At first glance the detergents seemed close, but at second glance I realized they actually are a lot higher where hopefully he may not reach. I think the room is lovely, I'm not too crazy about the laundry machines being right next to the crib, but some of the comments here are hurtful. It's quite possible they really didn't think anything was wrong with this arrangement and she did say it was only temporary. He's 2.5 so I doubt he spends much time in there anyway!

All the colors are so lovely! This is definitely my favorite apartment of all.
