I love this so much and I am a total girly girl. I am inspired by this because I have been having a hard time decorating our place which my boyfriend originally painted very dark and blah. This before/after is AMAZING!

My mother bought me a gorgeous little wreath made from a mix of evergreen bows, juniper, cedar, and a few other varieties of greenery..as well as a couple of pinecones and juniper berries. It sounds elaborate as I describe it but it is simple and very organic and I LOVE it!!

Never arrive empty handed and wait until everyone is seated before you start eating. My inlaws side if the family starts scarfing at family dinners by the time Nana sits down they are almost done. My family waits and we all eat together, that's the point isn't it?

Ugh. I first saw this post and was really excited hoping it could help me with our master bedroom my bf painted dark chocolate( wall our king bed is against) with the rest of the walls a taupy beige. It is too dark and too boring for me...BUT I just dont know what accent colour to use. I am not a fan of lighter blues with dark browns...never have been. Pic #3 is nice with the turquoise but not what I would like in the bedroom. The linens are all white and the furniture is a mix of wood finishes, mostly a mahogany finish. I've googled hundreds of images of chocolate bedrooms and the majority of them have white bedding with neutral accessories and texture through throw blankets, rugs and window treatments. It's nice...but not very homey...stale and hotel-like. I'm just in a rut i guess and need some new ideas. I've been using a lot of fresh flowers in the bedroom choosing different rich colours each time and so far what I like the best is a nice rich fuscia...any tips or past experiences would help get me out of this brown rut. a plant area, an art display, a reading nook, or combine any of these amazing ideas and be creative. If It was up to me I would create a shrine. Or maybe a quirky old tv set up playing a firelog video.

Thick cut bacon. the only must. The bread can vary, or it can be a wrap or a salad. Tomato or no tomato. As long as it is thick, perfectly cut bacon it'll be a good sammy.

Yes this totally reminds me of "blast from the past" Hilarious movie with Christopher Walkin as a brilliantly mad scientist who made his family live underground for like, 20 years then his son comes up to the surface and hilarity ensues!!
