These are all ridiculous, but I kind of love the room at The Palms.

I agree with scuttled cuttle too. The finalists are all very nice rooms, but they just don't seem to really embody the whole room for color thing. There were so many entries that just had amazing uses of color; it's weird to me that these are the finalists.

This house is beautiful. I love the wallpaper, art, and overall look. Great that it's unique too.

That said, my pet peeve is the "man cave" phrase. Like men are entitled to have a cool room (or in this case house) of their own to escape femininity. In this case it doesn't even seem to be a real man cave, so why even call it that? Although I guess "adult party escape" does make it sound like a sex club, so that may not be much better.

I've often thought that, while I love indiviual pieces in my home, overall it never looks very lived in or comfortable. Then I recently thought about it and realized that I've never lived in the same place for more than 2 years as an adult (and I'm in my mid-30s), so no wonder they never look lived in! I think my favorite homes really are the ones that have been decorated slowly in a more organic nature. It's definitely more fun too- I never want to get to a point where I'm finished with the decorating process.

I love the space itself, as well as the art and the beautiful garden. The clutter would drive me crazy, but everyone has a different tolerance for that kind of thing.
