I lived in Brazil for most of last year and when I wanted to make a simple cheesecake, I couldn't find graham crackers anywhere. That's about the time I discovered this site and others and made my own. From that point on I was hooked, love homemade grahams! Now when I return later this year, I am armed with a bunch of recipes for making my own "US" comfort food. Make or Buy: What Do You Say? |

I moved to Brazil last year and was living with friends for the first couple of months, one morning for breakfast the house keeper had prepared this for me (no chocolate). As had become my usual response to anything she made (and not being very comfortable with someone making me breakfast every morning) I, without hesitation thanked her and started drinking it fast, convinced I wasn't going to like it.
