Re: Northern Exposure. I too have northern exposure and in my living room, I painted my wall apple green/sage. On one wall, I put a large mirror to reflect light, make the space appear brighter and to decorate. This paired with succulents and plants, makes the room feel light airy, soothing and cozy -- at least that's what my friends say. On the other hand, in my bedroom, I wanted a dark and romantic feeling, so I panted my wall turquoise. I'd say selecting colors has a lot to do with the mood you want the room to evoke too.

I love it! I too am in a basement apartment and it's has a great amount of filtered light and feels really cozy, especially in the winter. In the summer it's great bc it stays cooler! You've given me a lot of inspiration, I love your apartment. My favorite part is the little shelf/nook you have above your kitchen door! Great space saving!

This apartment is perfection, it's not an teeny-tiny space it's a home. You can really see all the thought that went into making it a functional space. I'm inspired!

I think the layout is presented in a thoughtful manner. This apartment seems so much larger 350 square feet! I think the clear shower curtain is genius for making the bathroom appear more open and large. Having an outdoor space is also amazing! The only thing that left me a bit puzzled was the picture frame behind the TV. The brick wall is to die for!
