The dining room light fixture is actually pre-installed in the apartment. We are actually saving for a really nice antique chandelier - but spray painting it is a great idea too!

@Shera2316 - If you are referring to the oval mirror in the Living Room, that is actually a DIY project! It was a black ikea frame that I spray painted beige and had the mirror customized.

@Nancy_Claire - we got a big (good for 2) accent chair on clearance... but it was after these photos were submitted. i would have loved to share more of our work-in-progress. i might share a link with the rest of the house and some more details. thanks for all the compliments.

@linlinstar - the base was an old base we had from Ikea, then from our last visit also at Ikea, we found this tall shade that we thought was perfect for the space.
