I would rather not go back to the old house. There's too many bad memories. Too many memories there...

But in this case I'll definitley make an exception.

You have really done well in maximizing your space. I think the Persian meets Asian vibe is very refreshing, especially considering the amount of entries that are so fixated on the modern asthetic. The generous amount of wood from your pieces adds lots of warmth and comfort to your home. The acrylic chair at the desk adds a modern touch while keeping the Asian lines.

I would only change a couple of things. I think red hues are wonderful and underused, but too much can be intimidating, so they need to be toned down a little here. That could be accomplished by changing the dining room chair covers to something like black or gold. It would also serve to separate the dining space more from the living area. The other change would be to find a more fitting setup for your TV and equipment. Some sort of shelf or preferably a cabinet that could hide components so that they don't distract from all of the great pieces in your home.

Really, this is one of the better entries. It has a very comfortable, lived in feel, but still presents with some sophistication. Great job!

Maybe it's the photo angle, but the stairs on #1 look dangerously steep.

Another kudos for the sheet metal cabinets. The yellow is bold, but looks great!

I imagine I'm in the minority, but I'm not too hot on the overwhelming green in the kitchen. I second the idea of a sheer or other light curtain to separate the bed space. But really both of those are just my taste.

There's so much good here, that even without my suggestions, I had to favorite it. The acrylic table, as others have mentioned it fantastic piece for a room of this size. The mirror on the bathroom door isn't a new idea, but there's no need to reinvent the wheel when some thing tried and true offers both utility and opens up the space. The console table is great and well placed. So much livability, especially considering the contraints.

Wish the submission let you have mire photos, but maybe a home tour will be featured in the future. Love your use of advertising as art. So many unique treasures throughout -- looks like there will always be a conversation starter in your home.

You have some great mid-century pieces in your place. Thank you for taking photos that actually give the reader a good idea of how your home is layed out.

I know it has already been said multiple times, but putting the bed in the 'living' area is very clever. Not only do you get a good size living room, but you also freed up space to define an office area. The only thing I would do is different is put a sheer curtain up between the desk and hall to define the space as more private. Regardless, this is a FANTASTIC entry into the contest. Well done!

The bedroom is the scene stealer of this entry.

I think this is a great cozy space. Like others, I'm digging the vibrant colors and incorporation of the Latin heritage into the decor. Also props for including the Misfits Crimson Ghost.

Nice use of the couch layout to reinforce the separation of the living and sleeping space.

If I were to offer a suggestion, it would be to reduce the amount of tables. The full coffee table might be sacrificed in order to free up a little more space.

within easy reach.

If you go through the links and see what kind of square footage a lot of these places are dealing with, it's amazing they have room for a kitchen at all!

I really dig #1 (2010 Teeny Tiny winner) as it looks not only very usable, but actually regularly used. It's amazing to me that there's a double oven in that small space. Also like that there's actual prep space, even if it is a bit limited.

#7's use of the Ikea hanging unit is clever. It looks to me like it was designed by someone who cooks regularly, with containers for utensils and spices withi
