the filter will not remove that awful taste. if you haven't experienced the algal bloom water, you have no idea how awful it is. and ps: buying a refillable 5 gallon jug for water is not wasteful or irresponsible. The Weird Reason Why Your Tap Water May Taste Like Mold in the Summer |

Oh, and if I could make 96 grand a year for house/yard work I should quit my job right now.... for some reason I don't think that's the going rate in Ohio. Home Ec.: What is Your Housework Worth? |

I lived for 9 years on my own or with a roommate before marrying and am quite content to cook and clean my house while working a full time job. My current living situation is no different than in the past. If I want the house to be clean while my husband could not care less either way, then I clean the house. If he wants to help me clean, even better, but I'm not going to sit around and wait for him to do it (he has way more free time than I do) or I'd be waiting forever. In doing the work myself, the house always looks how I want it and I always get to eat what I want. On the other hand, I don't care about raking or having a nicely manicured lawn, etc. but my husband does and he's more than happy to take care of it himself. We do help each other out in both cases (just because) and I don't think we've ever fought about house or yard work. Whatever works. Home Ec.: What is Your Housework Worth? |
