Did this once with my roommates. We called it "Deep-fry Night". It was a hoot. My advice is to have 2 deep fryers, one for sweet foods and the other for savory. Cause you don't want to fry Oreos in oil that was frying shrimp and onion rings.

Dishes I've made in my slow cooker:
- aloo gobi (Indian potatoes & cauliflower)
- kalua pork (which later went on to become pulled pork sandwiches, tacos, enchiladas and pork hash)
- chili with beans
- Cincinati chili
- congee/jook with preserved eggs and minced pork
- barbecue pork spareribs
- kheer
- red beans and rice, actual the red bean part. These days you can buy cooked rice at the supermarket
- meatballs in tomato sauce

Susanna37, 4 cups coconut to 1 can sweetened condensed milk. Mix until the coconut is thoroughly coated. Add more condensed milk if the mixture does not hold together when pressed to form the macaroons. It will be a dry mixture, not dripping with the milk, but there should be enough to hold the coconut and form the macaroons. Bake at 350F until macaroons start to turn golden or gets tinged of brown color.

I have an even more simple coconut macaroon recipe with only 2 ingredients: unsweetened coconut flakes and sweetened condensed milk. Mix together and bake until golden. It is the best macaroon that I have ever made.

I sometimes have green tea with milk. It's a very mild tasting and can be too bland. It's much better with black tea as the taste of green tea gets lost when you add milk to it.

Learned this 'recipe' from my Korean roommate who got it from her aunt:

Top baked potato with a dollop of mayo, sliced pepperoncinis, and chopped kalamata olives (brined). It's delicious and doesn't taste mayonaise-y at all. It even works with reduced-cal mayo.
