I'm all for wiping out gender role stereotypes. But I'm not going to get behind wiping out genders. These posts are no different to me then getting a kid excited about their "big boy" or big girl" rooms. AT doesn't really categorize rooms by gender. You come here by clicking on a tab that says "Nursery & kids" then you scroll through a bunch of random posts. These posts are just a round up. AT could have kept them together as "Best of Big Kid rooms 2012" but you'd probably still find reason to complain if some of the rooms featured weren't totally gender neutral enough. Heh...when I was a kid I had just a bookshelf. My parents didn't try and pretty it up or anything like this, it was just a dark wood bookshelf that I put my Barbie furniture in. I did fine with that.
