Hi Everyone, I realize this is a pretty old thread, but I need some advice on grout and sealer. Like so many others, I was inspired by Anna from Door 16 to go with honed carrera marble on the floors and one wall of my bathroom. I'm doing one inch squares instead of hex, and they've just arrived in the mail. Now that I'm done swooning over them, I need to go buy the materials. I'm planning to use white grout, or possible pale gray, and while I'm not terribly concerned about keeping them in pristine condition, I would like to make sure I'm choosing the correct/best sealer for this. Can someone recommend a specific brand of sealer that would work best on honed marble? Also, after reading this thread and others, I guess sanded grout is the way to go with honed marble? Thanks in advance for any advice offered! Good Questions: Experience with Honed Marble Floors? |
