I'm the opposite. I have one and I hate it. Nobody sits there because the living room is right there so that's where everyone goes. I don't sit at mine for breakfast either. When I bought the place I thought it was pretty cool, but it's wasted space that's a great spot for holding papers and stuff that I'll eventually get to.
