I am PETA's Activist of the Year, and I have had my own apartment featured on this website...and I can tell you there is no such thing as a "by-product." The "production" of rabitts profits equally both from meat and the fur. Disgusting that you guys would glorify a product that was CLEARLY caused by suffering. Thumbs down AT. Rabbit Fur Tea Cozy |

I am an actress in Los Angeles and do voice over work from home as well from time to time. People, you can't just do these recordings "anywhere." People pay us for FLAWLESS quality files that just won't cut it if you did it in a non-sound insilated area. I had this problem in my old building with someone who had a loud dog who literally barked all the time. Even though I worked for animal control at the time and KNEW the rules about dogs barking, etc. My fight with the neighbor/landlord was LOST because apparently as a renter you are NOT allowed techinically to "work" out of your unit so therefore my requests for also just wanting to know "hey, when is your quiet time" was denied, laughed at, and I eventually moved. Plus people don't seem to understand that what we do IS "real work." But yet they just want all of those radio commercials to magically appaear somehow. The chances at that commercial being from someone's home studio is most likely now a days. What If I Can't Work from Home Due To Neighbor's Construction? Good Questions |

I am having this same problem now. I moved out of my apartment and in with my boyfriend. I can prove income, etc, but have a crappy credit score due to a divorce (and in my case, my bad credit was not my fault. I got slammed with divorce things that I never bought)...6 years later, someone is telling my boyfriend that I can't be added to his lease because I have a shitty credit score, even though my boyfriend has lived in his apartment for 2 years, and already paid deposit, etc. The landlord is not responsible for ANY of the utlities and STILL is saying I can't move in because of my credit score. Im a working adult and can pay rent, but why are landlords being unfair with credit scores when I am a good tenant and have 10 YEARS of FLAWLESS teneant/landlord records? I think the original question was regards to credit, etc. And we are in West Hollywood of all places!!!! Should I Ask My Landlord If My Boyfriend Can Move In? Good Questions |

As a vegan, I am never a difficult guest and am offended that this post was titled that way. I understand that the author thought this was a good idea, but please change the title. When I have meat-eaters that come to my house, I view them as difficult, so why weren't they on the chart? The Most Difficult Dinner Guest Ever: And 5 Delicious Meals To Feed Them |

Come to think of it, I can't tell you how many luxury hotels I have been in where the coffee maker is in the bathroom*;) Meggan's 7 Windows |

@diridi - The door in the "bitchen" that has my towel hanging on it is my back door, the other door without the mirror on it by my table in the "living area" is my front door. Yes I know, it's weird that an apartment so small has both a front and a back door. But I'm not complaining*;) Meggan's 7 Windows |

And to everyone who asks how I "deal" with the kitchen/bathroom, the key is to ALWAYS keep it 100% clean (which I am a neat-freak, so this would be the case regardless!) Also I am adiment on keeping the separate areas for their separate purposes, such as using the kitchen sink for ONLY cooking-related activities, ONLY using the bathroom sink for bathroom-related things, etc. I do have a large mini fridge, a 2 burner hot plate (which heats up faster then anything I've ever seen!), and a TON of storage for pantry items and all of my kitchen supplies (including my collection of vintage Fire King Red Dot Bowls, etc.) Meggan's 7 Windows |
